About The Event
The Steele Creek Library will be hosting an exciting program with The Cambodian Legacy Project!!
This program will be facilitated by our guest speaker, KAOVNY JONAS, CEO & Co-Founder.
Join the Cambodian Legacy Project for an interactive Cambodian Culture Connection experience featuring Cambodian language, dance, storytelling, music, and cultural traditions. Participants will learn simple Khmer phrases, explore traditional Cambodian dance hand gestures and movement, sample Cambodian snacks and candies, and engage in hands-on cultural activities designed for all ages and backgrounds. This beginner-friendly session celebrates Cambodian heritage while creating opportunities for community connection, learning, and cultural appreciation.
