A BIT ABOUT US
Our Beginnings...
The Cambodian Legacy Project (CLP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in April 2025 by Kaovny Jonas and Kim Lam, both immigrants and children of refugees. Our mission is to address the critical need for cultural preservation education and community support within Cambodian and broader Asian American communities. Starting as a grassroots initiative, CLP has rapidly evolved into a multi-program organization dedicated to serving youth, families, and elders through culturally responsive initiatives.

WHAT WE DO
Our Mission and Initiatives
The Cambodian Legacy Project preserves and celebrates Cambodian heritage while empowering Asian-Americans to thrive across generations. Through education, community, and the arts, we aim to foster pride, belonging, and cultural awareness. We create opportunities for intergenerational learning to bridge the gap between generations and strengthen family connections.
